This candidate forum provides an opportunity for voters to get to know the candidates and their positions on sustainability issues facing the city of Lincoln.

City Council candidates James Michael Bowers, Taylor Wyatt, Megan Stock, Mike James, Richard Meginnis, Jane Raybould, Colten Zamrzla, Tammy Ward, Cassey Lottman, and Reshell Ray have committed to attending the event.

Mayoral Candidates Leirion Gaylor Baird, Jeff Kirkpatrick, and Rene Solc have committed to attending.

What: Lincoln City Elections Candidate Forum on the Environment
When: Tuesday, March 26th, starting at 6:00 PM
Where: Firefighter’s Reception Hall, 241 Victory Ln, Lincoln, NE 68528

The questions asked during the forum will encompass a wide range of environmental issues in order to provide the most informative experience possible for those in attendance.

The forum is hosted by a coalition of organizations in Lincoln, including the Nebraska League of Conservation Voters, Bluestem Sierra Club, Citizens’ Climate Lobby, Envirorun, Friends of Wilderness Park, Green Sanctuary Committee Unitarian Church of Lincoln, Joslyn Institute for Sustainable Communities, Lincoln-Lancaster County Food Policy Group, Nebraska Elder Climate Legacy, Nebraska Interfaith Power and Light, Nebraska Wildlife Federation, Sustain UNL, and Wachiska Audubon Society.
